Dr. Kimberly Cleland - Veterinarian

I joined Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2021, but I've been in Northern Virginia for almost 20 years.

I am a 2002 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and attended Williams College as an undergrad (go Ephs!). I live with my husband, two children, and two cats. I am particularly interested in pain management (I am a member of the International Veterinary Pain Management Association), preventative care, greyhound medicine, and caring for older pets.

I feel very lucky to have a job where I can help animals (and by extension, their people) feel better. I am fluent in French, and can still speak some Mandarin, which was one of my majors. In my spare time, I like to read (especially science fiction and fantasy), write letters, and play board games with my kids.
